As a cop, Samantha Wilson saw too many kids abused, sexually assaulted, hurt or killed. So she changed careers.

As an internationally recognized expert in child and family safety, she now uses her expertise to help protect our kids, and communities from predators, pedophiles, pornographers, murderers, abuse, abduction, accidents and accidental deaths.

After studying criminology, Samantha began her career in law enforcement in 1994. Though she investigated everything from shoplifting to suicide, her focus was always crimes against kids. Samantha realized that these horrible, impossible-to-comprehend crimes were nearly always preventable, but that the general public didn’t have the information it needed to keep kids and teens safe, so she formed Kidproof in 2000 to do just that. Clearly it was needed – within eight years, Kidproof has trained hundreds of thousands of children across the US and Canada.
